NTSA SAO Chapter Schoarlarship Chat
In June, 2018, leaders from the North Texas Suzuki Association, Suzuki Association of Ontario, and the SAA had a remote conversation about scholarship programs. Both organizations have strong scholarship programs, and at the Chapter Round Table session at the SAA Conference in May, many other organizations wanted to hear details. We made this recording to answer questions and hear more details about their success.

Carmen Evans is the Artistic Director of the Suzuki String School of Guelph (SSSG) , where she has been a teacher since 2006.
Dedicated to professional development, Carmen regular attends conferences, and takes teacher development courses.
Carmen has a BA from the University of Guelph, where she was the recipient of the Gloria Guthrie Memorial Music Scholarship.
Carmen served as the Chair of the Suzuki Association of Ontario from 2016-2019.
Lenni Jabour is a dedicated Suzuki music teacher, professional musician, passionate volunteer and advocate for music programs in schools, and the mother of two young children. She is the founder and Director of Little Music Suzuki Method Learning in Toronto Canada, with a thriving Suzuki piano studio and weekly Suzuki Early Childhood Education group classes full of inspiring and wonderful families. Lenni is a member of the The Early Childhood Music Association of Ontario, and Past-Chair of the Suzuki Association of Ontario.
