Karen Egger

Karen Egger has been teaching for twenty years. She taught String Pedagogy at the University of Colorado, and ran a Suzuki music school for nine years, Silver Strings Academy. She has a Bachelor’s in Music Education and Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Violin Performance and Pedagogy. She did her Suzuki training with the nationally acclaimed pedagogue, William Starr. She played professionally with the York Symphony Orchestra for two years as a violist, and with the Shippensburg Festival Orchestra as a violinist. She also played electric violin with Cirque Dreams Holidaze, a division of Cirque du Soliel.
