*********In Person for 2023*********
The Pennsylvania Suzuki Institute is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Lehigh Valley in historic downtown Bethlehem and home to Moravian University, the sixth oldest college in the country. Music is an important tradition to our community in Bethlehem, as it was here where one of earliest orchestras in America was founded. Today it is home to the Bach and the Moravian Trombone Choirs. We invite you to work with our inspiring faculty who come from all over to teach in this unique environment.
There is plenty to do here! You can see the “Star of Bethlehem” glowing from the top of South Mountain and visit the Moravian Book shop, the oldest continuously operating bookstore in the world. Nearby you can enjoy local artisans, art galleries, restaurants, and shops, or take a guided tour of Bethlehem.
You can visit Martin Guitar, the State Theatre Center for the Arts, and the SteelStacks, go to a Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs game, or have fun at Dorney Park, the Da Vinci Science Center, The Crayola Factory, and the Canal Museum, and it’s only an hour away from Philadelphia or the Pocono Mountains, and 1 ½ hours to New York City.
