Welcome to the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute. Our institute is a family oriented Suzuki music summer program for students, parents & teachers of all ages & levels. LASI offers a nurturing music experience held on the beautiful campus of Pitzer College.

Students in the Foundational Program receive semi-private & group lessons, enrichment classes (such as fiddling, orchestra, musicianship or Dalcroze). PREP Program is for intermediate students, who receive semi-private & group lessons, chamber music experience & enrichment classes (such as orchestra, fiddling, Dalcroze). Young Artists is for advanced students ages 13 & up. Young Artists receive semi-private lessons, ensemble & chamber music experience & enrichment classes (such as music recording, Dalcroze, fiddling).

Parents gain inspiration observing their children receive instruction from expert teachers, develop community spending time with fellow parents & attend parent talks.

Teachers take SAA approved teacher training courses from world class Teacher Trainers & observe students studying with guest clinicians.

Come join in the fun, make new friends, mentors & colleagues, & leave inspired, nurtured & rejuvenated!

Diversity Scholarship

For Teachers, Amount: 50% Tuition, Application due: February 1
This scholarship is to help encourage the participation of students and teachers from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups within the Suzuki community. www.lasuzukiinstitute.com/diversity for more information. Application deadlines are scheduled throughout the year.

Financial Aid Scholarship

For Teachers, Amount: TBD, Application due: February 20
