Online class sessions: Sat Sep 21; Sun Sep 22; Fri Sep 27; Sun Sep 29; Sat Oct 5; Sun Oct 6; Sun Oct 20; plus 1-hour personal teacher appointments to check repertoire fluency (required).
Observation hours include: during and between class sessions via cloud links, screen-sharing and/or live-streaming.
Written assignments also required. CALENDAR available at the TT website. Spanish Translator provided.

Prerequisite course:

Voice Unit 2

Audition: Voice Basic, or Voice Comprehensive.

Deadline: All audition materials must be submitted by September 7 *

Trainer Information

Amelia Seyssel

Amelia Seyssel is a Suzuki Voice Teacher Trainer living in Poughkeepsie, NY. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance and Literature from Mills College, CA, a Diploma from the European Suzuki Association, and a Certificate from the Talent Education Institute of Singing in Vantaa, Finland, directed by Suzuki Voice Founder Dr. Päivi Kukkamäki. Ms. Seyssel has acquired extensive international experience and served in Faculty positions at two international conferences focusing on the growth and development of both students and teachers. She is co-author of SAA’s Voice Teacher Training Syllabus, first established in May 2022. Her background includes experience in Dalcroze (eurythmics), Early Childhood Music & Movement, Alexander Technique, Early Music Performance, Ethnomusicology, and Anthropological Linguistics.
