Event Description
Each student will receive a masterclass-style private lesson, group class, and at least one musical elective daily. Extra electives may be scheduled for $60 additional. Those in Book 3 and beyond will also play in an ensemble, which could be Chamber Music (offered for all instruments in combination with each other), Jazz and Fiddle Orchestra, Flute Choir, Piano Ensemble, or Guitar Ensemble. Electives include Music Together, Music and Movement, Choir, Viola for Violinists, Piano for Other Instrumentalists, Beginning Guitar for Others, Art, Music Theater, and Supervised Outdoor Recreation. Students can sign up to perform in one of three mid-day solo recitals. There is a recital of advanced students and chamber music groups on Thursday evening. Friday afternoon all pianists perform solos and Friday evening all others perform in groups at the final concert, which also has the Music Theater and Choir performances.
