SAA retreats provide participants an opportunity to get to get to know colleagues in unique settings with inspiring sessions, time for sharing, learning and fun.
Meetings times will be set for Teacher Trainers, Institute Directors, Chapter leaders, Conference Team and other groups—however, all Suzuki members are welcome to attend.

Vote on the Board Ballot by April 10
Vote to elect new members of the SAA Board of Directors.
Current individual Active members are eligible to vote. The ballot includes a proxy option for those unable to attend the Annual Membership Meeting in person, which will be May 25 at the Leadership Retreat in Ohio.
Voting closes on April 10.

Auditions
Teachers, if you plan to take unit training at a summer institute, now is the time to prepare your audition.
You will need to submit an audition if you are beginning training at Unit 1, or if you are taking Unit 5 or higher and have not already completed an upper-level audition. Submit your audition online to get your results faster!

Student Writing Contest
Calling all students: Enter the
2013 Suzuki Student Writing Contest!
Polish up your best poetry and nonfiction essays and send them our way. We want to see your many talents! Winning pieces will be published on the SAA website, in the Minijournal, or in other publications.
To get started, choose one of the following topics, or come up with your own!
- What does Dr. Suzuki’s phrase “beautiful tone, beautiful heart” mean to you?
- What is your favorite Suzuki repertoire piece to play, and why?
- Write about a memorable Suzuki experience.
