Find your friends and colleagues in the Online Member Directory.
Every Active SAA member has a full profile page in the online member directory with their contact information, including email addresses. You can add your picture and professional biography to your page, and opt to show your registered SAA training, too. Check out Board Chair Mark George’s page for an example.
Member profiles can also be found through the general website search when you’re logged in (in the top right of every page), making finding your colleagues even easier.
You can change your website privacy settings to customize your online experience and control what information you share with whom. Log in and review your web profile settings.
And don’t forget to add a picture and bio for your member profile page, if you haven’t already!
To protect your privacy, the online member directory is only accessible to other SAA members, not the general public.
We’ve got a lot of great videos for you this month!
See how some Suzuki voice students have progressed from twinkles to teens.
One hundred Suzuki string students from Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin took the field of Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Sunday, July 22, to perform the national anthem, directed by Suzuki violin teacher Joseph Kaminsky of St. Louis, before the last match of a three-game series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs, who have a 127-year-old rivalry.

What is SPA?
Suzuki Principles in Action (SPA) is a course designed to help teachers incorporate Suzuki’s principles effectively in their teaching. The course focuses on how to teach, not what to teach, and to allow for the sharing of ideas among all instrument areas. It is based on Dr. Suzuki’s belief that knowledge is an important first step, but “knowledge plus 10,000 times” is what produces ability.
SPA is a prerequisite for the Certificate of Achievement.
Now is the time to plan SPA courses!
Would you like to have SPA offered in your area?
