Voting for ECC Grant: New Plan with Extra Reward!Greetings Everyone, We are in the running to win a Pepsi Refresh grant of $50,000 to be used for 1,000 partial Every Child Can scholarships. If you haven’t already, first you must register with Pepsi Refresh (instructions below) and then vote for SAA every day in the month of July. It takes less than 5 minutes to register and less than a minute to vote each day. Please forward this email to your studio to help get the votes we need. We need to step it up, so here’s an additional incentive to vote from James Hutchins: I’m confident these emails are going out to more than enough people that we should ultimately be able to win this grant. I’d like to find out how many votes we’re getting daily. That way I can get an idea of how many we need to move up to the top 10 and win the grant. To do this, I need everyone to send me an email EVERY time they vote for 4 specific days—July 22 through July 25—and whatever group (association, studio, school, etc.) has the most votes/emails during those 4 days gets ME for FREE! For 6 hours to teach the ECC course where I will waive my fee. If you get me there and put me up, I’ll teach ECC or whatever is most helpful for 6 hours and waive my fee! This is for anyone 13 and older—not just SAA members! SO PLEASE vote every day AND when you vote on July 22-25 send me one email per vote at my NEW, DEDICATED address ( hutchjth@gmail.com ) letting me know you voted by simply putting your group name in the subject line. (I’ll check subject lines instead of opening them.) Instructions to Vote
SPECIAL NOTE: For my Suzuki friends outside the U.S., who unfortunately aren’t allowed to vote for the Pepsi Grant, your group is still welcome to compete for my free time. If you want to email me everyday to show that you would have voted and if your group sends me the most emails every day between July 22-25, and you can get me too, I’ll teach the ECC course or something else for you for 6 hours! Thank you for your support! We can get there! -James Hutchins Annual Fund CDs Ending July 31July 31 is the final day to get your copy of Celebrating Excellence 2009. Celebrating Excellence 2009 is a special gift available to this year’s Annual Fund donors at the $75 level or beyond. It features musicians who began their careers as Suzuki students. We are grateful to these talented performers for sharing their artistry with Suzuki supporters and friends and for their statements of support for Suzuki Method! You may submit your donation online or by check or credit card with the pledge form. Many thanks in advance for your generosity!
