In this issue: Suzuki Association of Indiana WelcomeThis past May, the SAA formally recognized the Suzuki Association of Indiana (SAI) as our newest Chapter Affiliate at the SAA Conference in Minneapolis. Congratulations to the members of SAI who have worked to achieve SAA Chapter Affiliate designation, and we are excited to be a part of this flourishing organization! The Suzuki Association of Indiana is an organization devoted to connecting Suzuki teachers across Indiana. They provide a newsletter and Facebook page, hold joint play-ins in the north, central and south part of the state, and plan to create a formal Book Graduation system for SAI teachers and their students. Even though it is in the beginning stages, the SAI hopes to continue to enhance communication between Suzuki teachers and continue to help carry on the goals, philosophy and standards of Dr. Suzuki. Please help us in extending a warm welcome to this growing Suzuki community! Look for more information about the Suzuki Association of Indiana in an upcoming issue of the American Suzuki Journal. 2014 Certificate of Achievement RecipientsThe SAA is extremely proud to recognize its newest group of Certificate of Achievement Level I recipients. Congratulations to each!

SPA is based on Dr. Suzuki’s belief that knowledge is an important first step, but “knowledge plus 10,000 times” is what produces ability. Read more
